UTTARAKHAND ARCHERY COACHES SCRIPT NEW HISTORY at the WORLD ARCHERY COACHES SEMINAR LEVEL- 1. Two Uttarakhand Coaches: Ms Pratibha Dhami and Ms. Sunidhi Bijalwan were among the 12 coaches from India who participated in the World Archery Coaches Seminar held in Switzerland from 19th February 2024. Both Uttarakhand Archery Coaches passed the seminar and have received the diploma certificate as well.
UAA is extremely happy that all 12 coaches from INDIA – who were trained by the coaches committee of AAI have passed their Level -1 certification. They have also received world archery diplomas after being trained by senior coach from UK Mr Tim Swaines, Ms Siret Luik- Deputy secretary General of World Archery, level -3 coach and international judge assessed them and distributed the certificates.
While speaking Coach Tim said that for the ‘ very first time ‘ , all the coaches who were examined had passed the exams. Secretary general of WORLD ARCHERY Mr Tom Dielen visited the participants and motivated them.
UAA congratulates the Uttarakhand Archery coaches who were also the toppers of the PAN India coaches workshops who visited World archery excellence centre , Lausanne , Switzerland for intensive hands on training after they passed an WA online certificate course , and a WADA anti doping course . They were examined by a panel which included Ms Siret – deputy secretary general of world archery and level 3 archery coach. All of them passed and got a world archery level -1 diploma and certificate for attendance.
Uttarakhand Archery Association is extremely proud of Ms Dhami and Ms Bijalwan and is committed to deliver and develop archery in Uttarakhand in best possible way. UAA President Mr. Rajendar Singh Tomar also congratulated Ms Pratibha Dhami and Ms. Sunidhi Bijalwan for their achievements on such big international platform who will help in nurturing the talent in Uttarakhand State.
