Uttarakhand Archery Association affiliated with AAI (Archery Association of India, recognised by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, GOI) is a state branch for archery sport in India.
To keep in mind the importance of Archery as a sport and make it accessible to every community of the region, UAA was founded by the Ex-Chief Minister of Uttarakhand and Member of Parliament Major General Bhuwan Chandra Khanduri, AVSM.
UAA has hosted many Archery events in the past years for State level, Zonal level. Our organization and professional coaches created reckons who won the medals and rankings at National and International matches.
In 2021, Uttarakhand Archers have won silver medal (individual category) in Senior National Archery Championship held in Jharkhand. Gold and bronze medal in All India Police Archery Championships.
Mohan Bhardwaj an archer of Uttarakhand has bagged two international silver medals in Asia Cup and World Cup of Archery. Santosh Kumar another ace archer has recently won 3 gold medals in World Police Games held in Canada.
As young people are shapers of the nation of the future, UAA always tends to cater sports enthusiasts. Uttarakhand Archery Association organises regular training camps & competitions on regular basis every year.
